I just did a body lotion review, so I thought to myself why don't I also blog about moisturizers. Since this is the most important step in our skin care regiment. I've tried so many moisturizers, but I'm just going to list a few popular ones that many of you may have tried, or wanting to try.
First off, my skin type is acne prone, combination. I have dry spots in certain areas, and I get oily throughout the day.
Olay Complete
This is one of my favourite drugstore moisturizer. It has a tiny scent which is pleasant. It's pretty thick in consistency, which I love because I apply foundation over this. It hydrates my skin enough in the summer, but it gives me dry spots in the winter. So I would only stick to this in the summer. The SPF is low, which I apply extra sunscreen after moisturizing with this product. I do get oily with this in the summer, but I blot away the shine during midday.
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
There were SOOOOO many great reviews on this product, so I went to my nearest Clinique counter and bought the three-step skincare system. I really disliked this. It was way too light feeling, and my foundation did not sit well on this. I had dry patches after makeup. Kind of a waste of money, but I mean everybody's skin type is different. It might work for you but, it really did not work well for me.
Philosophy Hope in a Jar
LOVE THIS!! it has an unpleasant scent..it smells like orange peel..I don't like oranges so that's why I hate the scent. But if you like orange peel smell, you may love this. One thing to remember is to NOT apply this near your eyes! It stings like a mother flying bird!! My skin absorbs this really well, I only use this at night though. I've been using this for over three months now, and I do notice my skin turn brighter. I will continue to purchase this!
Marcelle New Age Precision Day Cream
Sorry I can't find a good picture of this. But it's in a blue circular jar with a silver lid. This is what I use in the morning before foundation. This gives me enough moisture on my face which allows my foundation to look so flawless. I swear by this product! This is supposedly for firming your skin and reduce wrinkles, but hey who cares, if it works it works! I'm only in my early 20s so I don;t really need any skin firming just yet. But getting it already is not a bad idea! It would prevent skin aging, in my opinion!
Until next time, thanks for reading!!

Body Lotions Review
Wow..it's been a long time since I've updated!
Today's review will be about body lotions!! Winter is coming, and we all get dry skin, in order to conquer the chilly days, it's super important to properly moisturize our bodies after a shower. Here are a few of my favourite body lotions that leaves me smelling and feeling amazing!!
Vaseline Cocoa Butter Body Lotion
This smells like coconut, and has a smooth velvety texture. Right now I have this on, I slather this all over my body. I apply it on my neck, front and back, arms, stomach, elbows, back, legs, heels and can't forget the bum! There's an added benefit of Vitamin E, which helps reduce scars!
St. Ives Coconut Milk & Orchid Extract
I used this up already...and I LOVE IT..smells sooo fine. This is dermatologist recommended, uses natural ingredients and great for sensitive skin! This also has a soft velvety creamy texture.
Victoria's Secret Sweet Temptation
Out of the three, this is my favourite scent. Love the smell of sweet flowers. This has a tiny sticky after effect when applied. But once it dries, it leaves the skin feeling really smooth. What I don't like about this, is that there's no pump like the other drugstore body lotions. I've already gone through two bottles of this. This definitely has a long lasting scent to it compared to the other body lotions.
Thanks for reading to the end!! See you all next time :)

HAPPY NEW YEARS!
Hey EVERYONE,
Happy New Year!!! I know I'm a week late, but as they say "better late than never" ;) So this year, 2012 is gonna be super exciting for me. Got some amazing things happening in my family, and I am also gonna venture out of my comfort zone and do something totally different that is gonna boost my confidence and my way of seeing life.
A new year for me means, new resolutions and a new ME! I had made a list for myself and hopefully I can fulfill them by the end of this year.
- Eat healthy, more fruits and veggies; less meat and carbs
- Drink at least seven cups of water each day
- Do well in school
- Make everyone around me happy ;)
- Taking a chance, my life motto "No Regrets"
So that is my top 5 resolutions for the year 2012, everything on that list seems realistic and manageable. I strongly advise that making a list that is realistic is very important. You wouldn't want to set your target too high up for example, "Winning the lottery", that goal is way too long term and the possibility of achieving that goal is one in a million (unless you're lucky and did win). But what I'm trying to get at is, if you set short term realistic goals, they are a lot easier to achieve and make yourself feel satisfied when you had reached it. As a opposed to a long term unrealistic goal you would have to wait an unknown time to achieve that long term goal. I don't know about you, but I love to feel good about myself and when you feel good about yourself, your self confidence level goes way up. Once you know you're good, other people start to see how amazing you are as well.
thanks for reading!!! Wishing you all the best for 2012 cause it's gonna be the BEST!! <33
