Luxe Box Review

Hi Everyone!!!

I just recently received my first "Luxe Box" from "Loose Button". They are a Canadian company that offers a monthly subscription of $12 each month which includes 4-5 deluxe makeup samples. These sample brands include high end brand names such as "Bobbi Brown, Nars, Shiseido, Benefit, Clinique, Laura Mercier..etc".

The samples I received are "DDF: Advanced Firming Cream", "Yves Rocher: Italian Mandarin Shower Gel","Paco Rabanne: Black xs for her perfume", and "Lise Watier: Plumpissimo Le Gloss in nude". Since it is the Holiday Edition, Loose Button also included a Belgian chocolate silver coin.
I have not tried these samples yet, so I cannot give a full detailed review on these products until I have used them.

From what I've seen on youtube, my luxe box samples did not wow me as much as I hoped for. But I still have a 2 month subscription with Loose Button, so I hope that my future luxe boxes will include samples that I would love.

All samples are personalized to your profile once you sign up with Loose Button. This program is similar to the American "Brich Box" and the Youtube makeup Guru's "My Glam".

here is my referral ;) http://luxebox.loosebutton.com/friend-sign-up?referrer=ZmFjZjBiYTI=

The packaging is super cute. Love the matte black box because it accentuates the white brand logo and text. Also when you open the box, there's a greeting card and a information pamphlet that informs you on the product samples you've received. Your samples also lay on light blue crimped paper confetti. Being able to receive this box every month is like having Christmas presents delivered to your door. Love the feeling of opening up a surprise! A great way to treat and spoil yourself every month :P

I am not sponsored by Loose Button to do this review, all my reviews are 100% honest. And I used my own personal money to purchase this.

Lip Balm Review

Hey Everyone!
I'm back with a quick lip balm review on CARMEX, EOS, and ROSEBUD SALVE.

First off, the CARMEX lip balm.

PROS:
  • inexpensive
  • very moisturizing
CONS:
  • formula is a little thick when applied
  • has a strong medical scent
Purchased for $2.00 at WALMART. Overall, I give this lipbalm a 3.9/5.

Second, EOS summer fruit.
 PROS:
  • goes on lips smooth
  • amazing fruity scent
  • easy to apply, love the cute egg shape packaging
CONS:
  • lasting power not long enough
 Purchased for $3.99 at LONDON DRUGS.Overall, I give this lipbalm a 4/5.

Lastly, ROSBUD SALVE.
 PROS:
  • very moisturizing
  • long lasting power
CONS:
  • pricier
  • inconvenient to apply with fingers
  • a little oily looking
Purchased for $8.00 at AMERICAN APPAREL.Overall, I give this lipbalm a 4.5/5.

These three lip balms are my overall favorites if I am looking to moisturize my lips day or  night. I tend to apply the CARMEX lipbalm at night before I go to bed so that the thick formula can be absorbed into my lips and give me a set of kissable lips in the morning<3
In the morning when I put  my makeup on I will first apply the ROSEBUD SALVE so it can moisten my lips for lipstick later. During the day when I feel that my lips are getting dry and chapped, EOS comes in handy for that extra delicious scent and moisture.

That's it for now ;) Thanks for reading!

P.S. And don't forget to exfoliate your lips for a smoother canvas for your lipstick to be applied on! Remember! don't suck or lick your lips too often girls, the salt in your saliva will dry up the skin on your lips and cause flaky, cracked lips :S nobody wants to kiss flaky lips!!
So pucker up and apply your lipbalm ladies.
